Pleasington Golf Club Dress Rules
To maintain the standards within the Club, Members and visitors are expected to dress moderately and conventionally. The rules below may only be waived at the express wish of Council Representatives.
Among the items of dress that are deemed unacceptable are the following:
On the Golf Course
Blue Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Collarless Shirts including T-Shirts, Soft Collared Shirts worn outside trousers, Trainers, Shorts (unless Tailored Shorts and worn with either White Sports Socks, or Knee Length Socks of any colour - see photo).
For Ladies Sun Tops & Short Shorts
In the Clubhouse
Blue Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Collarless Shirts including T-Shirts, Trainers, Shorts (men only), Caps and Headgear of any form, Waterproof Clothing, any sort of Outdoor Coat, and the absence of Shoes or Men´s Shoes worn without Socks.
In the Dining Room
Smart Casual Dress may be worn up to 8.00 pm each day. Jackets and Ties MUST be worn after 8.00 pm and Ladies change out of golf gear after 8.00 pm.
In the Mixed and Mens Lounge and Snooker Room
Smart Casual Dress may be worn all day throughout the year.
Juniors
Smart Casual Dress may be worn all day throughout the year. Shorts may be worn in the Clubhouse by Juniors age 14 years and under.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are not permitted in the Clubhouse or on the Course, and may only be used on the Car Park. Except in an Extreme Emergency.
Purchase of Drinks Whilst Dressed for the Course
Players dressed for the course may enter the Spike Section of the Mixed Bar to purchase drinks for consumption outside.
