Pleasington is without doubt one of the best tests of golf in the North-West of England with a superb layout, being part parkland and part heathland in character with some heather.
The course is a regular venue for County matches and has hosted numerous prestigious competitions. These include top class amateur events and The Open Regional Qualifying returning annually again to Pleasington for 6 years from 2004.
