Hole 8 - Viaduct

Be up is the best advice here, there is nothing for under clubbing on this hole. This is a beautiful short hole. Before playing pause for a moment and admire the view of the wooded heights on which Hoghton Tower stands with the gorge below cut out by the River Darwen.

The shot is played to a high plateau green which is well banked to the left and rear making it an easy three, but a sliced ball can easily run into trouble down the slope to the river.
