Before deciding which image to download first need to determine the resolution of your Desktop. This can be found by performing a right mouse click in any blank area of your desktop, and selecting Properties from the list provided, which brings up the Display Properties Window. Select the Settings tab where you should find the Screen Resolution. The PGC Site works best with 1024 x 768, so you may wish to change your setting.

Now select the desired Image from the list below. Once it appears in full, which may take some time over slow internet connections, save the image to an appropriate place on you computer using the File and Save As drop down menu option.

To set this image as your Desktop, make a right mouse click in any blank area of your desktop, and select Properties from the list provided, which brings up the Display Properties Window. Select the Desktop tab. You must then select the Browse Button, locate the file in its stored location and click on the Open button. Finally this can be set as the Desktop by selecting the Apply button. The Display Properties Window may now be closed down.
