Thursday 28th July 2011 at the 8th hole in the Thursday Medal.Yes another hole in one.using a 5 iron.

This is his 4th, 3 of them at the 8th hole and 1 at the 10th hole.

His first on the 8th was in 1983 playing with John McNeill in the Birtwistle

His second on the 8th in 1994 or 95

The third was quite unusual, it happened on the 10th in 2004 - on the Sat in a comp.In the same week that Louise Jones who was then Lady President at the time, and Barbara Bould who was Lady Secretary both had an ace on the 10th in the same Tuesday comp - so within 5 days we had 3 holes in 1 on the same hole!
