Gerard Burns - 10th - Founders Trophy 26/05/07

Gerard Burns won the Founders Trophy with an amazing nett score of 61. (69 - 8). After receiving the Trophy from Captain, Ged outlined 'the round of his life' after carding a birdie 2 at the par 3 8th hole; he then went one better by hitting a hole in one at the par 3, 12th.

He will now join his father Gerry on the Founders Trophy winners’ board. Gerry won the Competition in 1969 and 1995. and was present with family and friends at the evening’s prize giving.

Sam Swarbrick - 10th - April Medal 28/04/06

Sam Swarbrick had an ace at the 10th in April Medal. He played a 3 wood and actually saw the ball go in the hole! Sam bought two bottles of scotch in bar for players, and was unlucky only to received one ball in the ball sweep for his achievement.
